This image came to me while I was dancing, hence the fluid movement throughout the piece. The shaman wears the antlers which for me signifies great power and a trancelike consciousness. S/he dances over a fiery river which is the Milky Way set aflame by the sheer power of hir dance energy. Others have come to join the dance - the Sun, Moon and Eagle Flyer, as well as a Jaguar Warrior and an Earth Mother figure. Notice that the heart and inner aspect of the shaman is a bright pink which seems slightly out of balance with the rest of the image: despite the wild, fluid and fiery energy of the dance, the shaman knows deeply that hir inner being is one of stillness and peace.
