A selection of visionary art from 2008-10. There are themes here ranging from visitation and contact with part of the psyche not often touched to suggestions of the living landscape, sacred icons of a sorrowful Gaia, work inspired by a visit to Bushman rock art sites, dreams, migraine experiences that seem to bridge vast expanses of time and space, hypnogogic sensations and the passing of two great visionary artists, don Pablo Amaringo and J. Alec Pearson. This gallery also documents my transition from ink and marker to acrylic paint media. I feel that the the increase in maturity of these works is underlain by the initiation of my professional artistic practice in 2007.
