Originally intended for Frank's house on the edge of town, this image moved to Lily's house because the family had been incredibly proactive in painting up their house and fence using paint they had bought themselves. Lily's son Enrico also created a beautiful garden with some beautiful plants and so the Southern Cross design was selected for their home. The image fit perfectly on the side elevation of their home and the Dreamcatcher PaintUp Kids worked with Diane Rossouw to create the fish in the harbour and the waves in the sea as well as the fish traps. The large format of the Sleeping Beauty Mountain above the town of Melkhoutfontein whispering dreaming words of blessing to the stars for the community's people looks particularly striking in this location, and since I was often away painting the Timewalk mural, I am grateful to everyone who helped realise this mural from my design, direction and marking out of imagery.
