A drawing which responded fairly simply to sculptures and engravings which appeared to be portraits of specific individuals as opposed to generic depictions of humanity. These were found in caves such as Lascaux but also the famous Venus of Brassempouy has been theorised to be a portrait. What's itneresting is that human women were often portrayed but insculpture, men never were - therianthropic males tend to be seen instead. While was drawing I felt that engravings of mammoths also found on the cave floors at Lascaux would be a suitable accompaniment to the images...
